How to start

Speak to Holman Wanderfoot, outside the Ashamed Pig Inn in Farshore. He is stood just to the left of the left door, and is marked Herbalism on the world map.

Description

"I'm not very often here. Could you tell Catherine that I am back in town if you see her? I've known here since she was 3 years old. She is a good friend of mine. She should be somewhere in the west at the pier as I know her."

Quest Walkthrough

Follow the path left a short distance. Catherine is stood just above it, to the right of the pier.

Speak with her, and select the Talk to Catherine option to complete the quest.
